Bookkeeping boundary: this is a sales ledger, not a tax return. WenaPay preserves item prices and sale-time cost snapshots, but does not infer VAT registration or tax treatment until the merchant’s tax profile is explicitly configured. Adding a cost price later does not rewrite an older completed sale that had no cost recorded at the time.
